Smart camera with smart software

21 mai 2010

With their 1GHz VIA Eden ULV processor and 512MB RAM, the Sony XCI Smart camera series represents an efficient platform for machine vision applications. Since its introduction, this camera product family has secured a firm position in the world of image processing.
In our role as Sony sales partner, we combine the hardware features of the XCI series with the software potential of our image-processing library Common Vision Blox: We provide our customers with a CVB driver for these cameras, which allows them to integrate the XCI family into CVB and Sherlock based applications easily and seamlessly, as you would expect with CVB. In this way, our Sony XCI customers can use all the benefits of Common Vision Blox without additional installation work.
