New General Manager at Parameter AB

Formerly holding several different positions and lately as Vice President Sales of the Stockholm based company Parameter, Trollsås succeeds Michael Cohn, the previous owner of Parameter. Over 3 decades Cohn had played a major role in developing Parameter into one of the most established names in Europe’s imaging and machine vision industry. After the acquisition of Parameter by Europe´s largest machine vision technology provider STEMMER IMAGING from 1st January 2014, Cohn had continued to oversee the transfer of Parameter to STEMMER IMAGING in his function as General Manager.
“Michael has successfully established Parameter with headquarters in Sweden and offices in Denmark, Finland and Poland to be a leading supplier of machine vision components and systems in the Nordic countries, Poland and the Baltic countries”, Trollsås said. “I am delighted to have been given the responsibility to further expand our business in this region in the future.”
Parameter will change to STEMMER IMAGING in Q4 2014
The Parameter company name will change to STEMMER IMAGING in Q4 2014. “When this renaming is done and all organisational processes completed, we will be able to deliver a further improved competitive advantage to our customers in the Nordic countries, Poland and the Baltic countries, who will be able to take advantage of high stock levels and the superior level of competence that Europe’s largest machine vision technology supplier offers to customers in other European countries”, Trollsås continued.
“Combining the experience of local Parameter staff and the strength of the European STEMMER IMAGING team we will be able to make substantial progress towards our goal of maximum customer proximity and service in our sales areas”, said Trollsås.
